Grunge

 Jumpstart your Saltwater Aquarium with a rapid cycle with Gulf Live Rock’s new product Grunge. GLR Grunge will inoculate your saltwater aquarium with over 900 kinds of natural live real ocean bacteria and archaea strains. It also has 12 different strains of nitrifying microbes, beneficial, microorganisms, and natural minerals your corals and macros will love. GLR Grunge is a mud like substance that consists of tiny particles of reef silt. The reef silt particles are fine grain aragonite fragments that have a significantly higher surface area to host bacteria compared to our rubble live rock and live sand options. When mixed into a slurry and added to the aquarium the particles attach to every available surface area in the tank. All the nooks and crannies including the dark areas in your tubing that host stains that need darkness. GLR Grunge is also good for boosting your biome in an established aquarium and colonizing bacteria on your dry rock, fake plastic decorations and bagged or dry sand. GLR Grunge is a live perishable product. It can't sit around on shelves. Each orders is hand pack fresh at the time of your purchase. It would be impossible collect grunge intentionally. It is a byproduct of live rock farming and only a limited amount is available.
